    Easter

Well lets see - Easter has been good for us.

Friday we had a successful playgroup where the kids hunted eggs, ate a lot of candy and then dyed eggs. It was actually not too messy.

Saturday me and Andrew ran errands and then went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny where he actually was excited. The bunny and him threw an egg around and then he sat on his lap, gave him a hug and a high five and yelled Bye Bye and off we went. When we got home we dyed eggs at our house with Cars stuff of course and every time me or Stan went to help Andrew said "No Drew Drew" meaning we weren't allowed to help.

Today we got up and he was very excited about his basket and he wanted to play with everything not open the next egg. The easter bunny brought powdered donuts for breakfast and he thought those were swell. Then we went to church where after every song he yelled out "YEAH" really loud. It was cute though. After his nap, Nana and Jack came over for dinner and he hunted eggs. Again he had a lot of fun hunting except he opened every egg as he went and poured jelly beans all over the yard.

Now I'm off to work and will post the pics in the am.

    Love ya

    Trip to Fort Lauderdale

Well we had a successful trip to see my family. Me and Andrew drove down on Thursday night. The drive was good. He watched Cars and Follow That Bird and then went to sleep. However when we got there he was so excited that he couldn't go to sleep. Every time he layed down he started jumping on the bed. And he was in a makeshift bed and so I could just leave him and let him cry so needless to say it took until 0130 for him to go to bed and then he was up at 0600. The sleeping situation did improve as he got used to sleeping in the bed and he was ok the rest of the trip. He even slept in until 0730 which is late for us.

Friday we went to Ikea which is an awesome store for those of you who haven't been there. It's HUGE. Then we played at the park. That night me and Kimmee had to go to the mall because I forgot to pack a bra for this trip so I went and got a bra and 3 pairs of pants at Ann Taylor Loft (the pants I'm sure I didn't need but .... you know me)

Saturday we went to Brian Piccolo Park for a picnic and Kimmee had invited a bunch of her friends which was hilarious because I realized how old I am. As I was thinking about how little the girls were I realized that I'm 10 years a husband and a child older than them and I was feeling old. Then I looked over and they ALL had out their phones and were talking or texting. So I was thinking back to when I was in the end of middle school and high school and we had beepers. Then I felt really old. That night me and Kimmee went and saw 27 Dresses. It was really cute!!!! When we were leaving we saw some of her friends and of course they were the CCHS basketball team and boy were they ... TALL.

Sunday me and Andrew went to lunch with Kristin at Smoky Bones, which I love. It was great to see her. That night we went to Chili's with the Kitchmans. They are having a girl named Katelyn or Caitlyn. How exciting. Andrew was good at both places believe it or not I hardly want to take him to 1 restaurant much less 2 in 1 day but he was good. I had ordered him corn kernals and they brought corn on the cob so I thought well I'll try it. He loved it on the cob.

Monday we went to Target (Imagine that) and then came home. He napped the first part and then again watched Cars and Follow that Bird but he was good the whole way home.

Andrew was obsessed with the trike that my parents had for him. He rode it around and around and around. Pushing it like Flinstones car (what was I just saying about getting old - I doubt they know who the Flinstones are). He would cry every time we went past the garage and he couldn't get the bike out. It was cute though. Overall it was a successful trip and we're glad we went.

Alexis Kitchman:  I'm glad you went too and I totally understand the getting old thing and can totally relate!

So I cant believe that Andrew is such a big boy. He continues to crack me up. His favorite things to do now are watch Follow That Bird and Cars, play with his train, blocks, CARS, CARS and more CARS or anything else that is small and makes a huge mess. His is Mr Independent and wants to do everything himself and make all his own choices. NO is a favorite word of his even when he means yes. I think he just likes to say it. He is super sweet and has finally started to want to snuggle sometimes, especially when its close to bedtime. He always pats the space next to him so he can get me to come over and sit by him or play with him.. He's too sweet. He also loves his 4 wheeler and wagon that are in the garage so we have to be careful if the garage door opens either be quick or be prepared to go play. He got a step stool for Christmas and has the blue hand soap so now he wants to wash his hands all the time and thus goes in and turns the water on and washes up and then forgets to turn it all off. Otherwise things are going ok. Our next feat will be potty training which we have the stuff and are talking about it but he's not ready so we're not pushing it. Then will be the big boy bed which again he loves his bed and is not trying to climb out (I know this surprises most of you having known how much Andrew climbs) so we're staying in until we need to move out.

Hope everyone is doing ok and will talk to ya'll soon

Well Christmas has come and gone and Andrew had a great one. He liked opening presents except he wanted to stop and play with each thing after he opened each present. We only had one melt down when it was nap time. He kept trying to take a nap in the dog's new bed. Finally he went to sleep and just took his new train with him. Otherwise all went well. He enjoyed everything and had a great time.

This has been a very busy holiday season for us - We've been doing and going lots of laces because Andrew is having so much fun with Santa and the lights and all the Christmasy things. SO far this season let's see what we've done.

    - Of course we baked and baked and baked
    - We went shopping down at the Outlet Malls (and everywhere else)
    - We've seen Santa 3 times and every time he likes him from afar but not up close and he doesn't want to sit on his lap. One time he gave him back the toy and waved and said Bye Bye. Another time he gave him high five but wouldn't sit on his lap. Another time Mommy had to sit in the picture and lean out. And at school he just screamed.
    - We went to the Plant City Christmas Parade and Andrew loved it.
    - We went to the Dade City Christmas Stroll and he got to ride on a trailer pulled by horses.
    - We had our Kids Christmas Gift Exchange Party that was lots of fun and suprisingly enough all the kids were good.
    - We went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas and Andrew stayed up until 1100pm and wasn't even crazy. He was in complete awe and loved the parade and fireworks. It was freezing out and him and Addison were all bundled up.
    - Last night we went to Christmas Lane in Dover and walked around and then Andrew was such a big boy and rode on the train all by himself. He just stared at it and when you asked if he wanted to ride he was like "Yeah". Then he went right to the guys who put him on the train. He got to pull the bell and was in heaven.

Only a few more events before the Big Day!!!!
    - Today is a veg day and Mommy has to wrap presents
    - Tomorrow id early dinner with Nana and Jack and then to church

    And then the big day!!!

Hope everyone's holidays are as fun as ours have been!!!!!

Well - a quick update because I just got home from work and am tired. Wanted to let everyone know Andrew had another seizure related to a fever related to another double ear infection. He was at school this time which totally sucked but everything is fine now
So far he loves the Christmas stuff and is having lots of fun. He's talking like crazy and really a big boy. Otherwise we're super busy this month so I'm sure there'll be lots of new pics. Hope everyone has a great holiday season.

Just a quick note - if you ever have your kid on steroids beware. As everyone knows Andrew eats like a cow to start with. Put this kids on steroids and look out. He is in the kitchen every 30 minutes or so asking for a snack and has tore up every meal he gets. He is out of control and is waking up from his nas saying "SNACK". He's too cute and we just finished the steroids so hopefully we'll be returning to normal eating soon.

So we got home last night and our first night without a Pacy wasn't too bad but we'll see how the rest goes. We went to the doctor and Andrew has another ear infection and his tonsil is the size of a golf ball and full of pus. Boy are we glad we started day care... So he's once again on Antibiotics, Steroids and an inhaler. Hopefully this will take care of everything. Naps without Pacy today didn't happen - but I think it was related to being sick not no Pacy because every time he would fall asleep he would cough and wak himself up crying with a sore throat so we'll see.
